My name is Renee Foy, I'm a Toronto based filmmaker with aspirations in creative producing.
I produced the thesis film "Tantrum" and received the Best Production Award at the TMU Film Festival. Since then, "Tantrum" has screened at various festivals, including VAFF, SHORT to the Point, TIFF Next Wave, and the Seattle Asian Film Festival, where it won the grand jury prize for Best Short Narrative.
My style is grounded in the slice-of-life format with an experimental twist. My work often explores the complexities of time, familial dynamics, and how they shape our identities. Through storytelling and personal explorations, I aim to connect with others and spark meaningful conversations.
